This 3 year old Chocolate Lab wound up in a Kentucky shelter when his owner passed away. Although he suffers from Progressive Retinal Degeneration (an eye disease that affects his vision) he doesn't let it stand in the way. With his unique determination, he is able to play, fetch and get around just like any other dog! He is completely housebroken and loves animals big and small. Bismark does tend to get a little nervous in the car but that is attributed mainly to his lack of vision. He is a great companion dog that loves to be around you but doesn't have to have your constant attention. He just likes knowing you are near and is content to let you go about your daily routine. What more could you ask for in a best friend?
